Lloyd Henderson
Auctioneer, Ringman, Vice President of Sales
A 2nd generation auctioneer, Lloyd was raised attending and working in the Auction-world. After serving in the military, Lloyd graduated from The Reppert School of Auctioneers in 1993.
He is the son of Dale and Sue Henderson and the nephew of Marvin Henderson. He is the proud father of Demi, Joseph, Samuel, Lucy, and Bonnie Sue. Lloyd's oldest son Joseph is already participating in the auctions and may become a 3rd generation auctioneer. Lloyd is a member of the LAA, where he served as vice president in 2008. He is also a long time member of NAA.
Lloyd's responsibilities at Henderson begin well before the Auction Day. He is directly involved in the entire scope of the auction process from acquisitions, sales, and customer relations, to on-site appraising, consulting, and financial decisions. Because the industry is dynamic, Lloyd is constantly abreast of trends and fluctuations in consumer demand. His expertise and experience serve well to make Lloyd an integral member of Henderson Auctions. By Auction Day, the necessary preparations have been made and Lloyd enjoys his role as auctioneer.
During his free time, Lloyd likes to spend time with his family, coach his childrens' sports teams, and fish. If asked, Lloyd would tell you himself that he has has "...truly been blessed with a beautiful happy family, good health, and a profession that not only feeds the little mouths, it brings in so much variety, fulfillment, enjoyment and most importantly a satisfaction in what I do."
